Major traffic backups in Walsenburg due to Florida fugitives' arrest investigation

Southbound I-25 remains closed at Exit 52 in Walsenburg amid the continuing investigation into the chase and crash that ultimately led to the arrest of three fugitive siblings from Florida. Traffic is being detoured through downtown Walsenburg along Main Street, which is the I-25 business loop through town. Traffic is at a virtual standstill as all southbound motorists must exit I-25 and utilize the detour as the investigation continues.
