PUEBLO - Pueblo County commissioners now say they will be regulating special events.
That means if you're hosting an event with more than 500 people, you will have to apply for a permit at least 45 days before it takes place.
Some people are worried that the new permitting encourages large, disruptive parties.
Pueblo County Commissioner Terry Hart says it's meant to keep large events in order.
It costs $150 to apply for a permit.
Farming events, like annual pumpkin patches, are exempt.
