FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - Authorities say someone pried the backs off cluster mailboxes in Larimer County and stole mail.

The Larimer County Sheriff's Department says the damage and thefts occurred last weekend on a street near Horsetooth Reservoir west of Fort Collins and in Rist Canyon northwest of the city.

Cluster boxes hold multiple mailboxes that require keys for residents and mail carriers to open.

Postal inspectors and deputies are investigating.
