Mail will resume in some areas of El Paso County

Mail delivery is slowly starting to get back to normal.

The Gleneagle area in Colorado Springs, 80921, will have all accumulated mail delivered today.

Around 200 homes in Peyton, with the zip code 80831, will also have mail delivered today. But 25 homes in the Peyton area will not receive mail.

Monument has around 1,400 addresses that won't get mail, but 1,300 addresses that were evacuated will see mail delivery today. All mail will be delivered, but if your address is in the evacuation zone, you can pick it up at the main Post Office on 3rd St.

The Black Forest Retail Postal Unit in the Forest Plaza Market will re-open Monday, with services being out of the Briargate Station.

Finally, mail for the heart of the Black Forest area will not be delivered because of road closures. It is being held at the Briargate Station, and can be picked up at the side door in the lobby until 5:30 p.m. Their phone number is (719) 265-4409.
