Magnitude 3.8 earthquake shakes Southern California

LOS ANGELES (AP) - A small earthquake has rattled homes in Southern California and caused buildings to sway in downtown Los Angeles.
Some people were shaken out of bed but there are no reports of injuries or damage.
A server at a San Bernardino diner says "it felt like a sonic boom," but it was brief and startled customers quickly returned to eating their breakfasts.
The U.S Geological Survey now says the quake measured 3.8. It had earlier put the magnitude at 4.1.
Dr. Lucy Jones with the USGS also says early reports that the quake occurred on the San Andreas Fault were incorrect. She says the epicenter was in an area of San Bernardino County where three faults come together, about 60 miles east of Los Angeles.
