LOVELAND, Colo. (AP) - Colorado's cold snap is being blamed for the death of a 91-year-old man in Loveland.
Robert Kopher was found dead outside the Sugar Valley Estates Independent Living Residences early Tuesday morning. The Larimer County coroner says he died of hypothermia.
Investigators believe Kopher became confused late Monday night and wasn't able to get into the facility or his vehicle. It's not clear why he was there. Coroner investigator Matthew Canaga said Kopher once lived at the facility.
He wasn't reported missing.
