LOVELAND, Colo. (AP) - A Loveland Fire Rescue Authority chief has resigned after he was accused of responding to a fire under the influence of alcohol.

According to Denver television station KMGH-TV, Fire Marshal Merlin Green was charged Sunday with driving while ability impaired.
