Lockheed Martin is pledging money and volunteer support for the Denver School of Science and Technology.
Lockheed Martin Space Systems of Jefferson County is making a "large financial pledge" to the school.
Company officials are also making a five-year commitment of volunteer support from Lockheed Martin's 4,300 employees, half of whom are engineers or scientists.
The Denver charter school was one of a handful nationwide in the running to win a commencement speech delivered by President Barack Obama.
