Devra Ashby, Director of Communications and Community Relations, has confirmed to KOAA News 5 that Fremont Elementary School is no longer on a precautionary lock down.
Initially the school was placed on a precautionary lock down when Colorado Springs Police communicated that a domestic dispute may have spilled over and one of the two parties involved in the incident may be en route to the school to pick up a child without permission.
Devra Ashby stated that there was no incident at the school and the lock down order was lifted.
