Planking. Owling. Tebowing. Cone-ing? It seems a new internet fad is born each week and the creator of the latest craze "falling" lives right here in Colorado Springs. Justin Stuart's YouTube video titled "Falling is the new Cone-ing" has been viewed over a million times in just one month. His clips have also been featured by fellow YouTube prankster Alki Stevens and comedian Daniel Tosh of Comedy Central's Tosh.O.
In the clips, Stuart, his friend Jacob Leggett and others intentionally trip and fall in public areas. In fact the first cut shows Stuart diving into a stack of paper towels at a grocery store behind an unidentified woman. She turns to him and says, "really, that's no way to meet a chick."
Juvenile? Yes. Funny? It depends. Harmful? Stuart says no. However, not everyone agrees with him. Tonight on News 5 we'll introduce you to Justin, Jacob and discuss the possible fallout of the falling fad.
