Remember the thrill of Coronado High School graduate Henry Cejudo winning the gold medal in wrestling at the Beijing Olympics--his sheer joy as he wrapped himself in the American flag. Cejudo has now penned a memoir, American Victory: Wrestling, Dreams, and a Journey Toward Home.

Cejudo recounts his life from its beginnings as the son of illegal Mexican immigrants in South Central Los Angeles, to living out his dreams in Colorado Springs, where he attended school while training for the Olympics. In Beijing he became the youngest American gold medalist ever in freestyle wrestling.

Cejudo's book was released Tuesday. On Amazon.com, it's broken into the Top 100 in Biographies and Memoirs.

The former Colorado Springs resident will be in town Saturday for a book signing at Borders, beginning at 2 pm.
