Local massage therapist arrested for sex assault

Colorado Springs police arrest a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman during a massage.
The incident reportedly happened January 26 at the Springs Best Massage at 5527 N. Union Blvd. Suite # 200.
The victim told investigators Shannon Atkinson began her massage. During that time, the victim says she was sexually assaulted. Atkinson was arrested January 29 for felony sexual assault.
Based on the allegations, detectives are concerned that there may be additional victims and are asking them to call Detective Donny Baca at 482.7125.
