With many residents of the Devonshire Apartments burned out of their homes or simply looking for help moving forward, local organizations are giving back in any way they can.
One of those is the Black Forest based "Crosses for Losses." They have been at the Devonshire complex the past couple of days giving out clothing, food, toys and stuffed animals.
"It never gets better, it just gets different," says Amanda Davis of Crosses for Losses. "To be here and give them some of the guidance that we have learned and how to get through it is helpful for them."
They say clothing is the biggest concern with cold temperatures.
The Red Cross and other local agencies are helping displaced families as well.
