SOUTH WILLIAMS PORT, Pa. - A 12-year-old Connecticut boy has joined elite company by throwing a no hitter in the Little League World Series.
Will Lucas of Fairfield, Connecticut tossed 13 strikeouts in the 6 inning win over New Castle, Indiana Monday.
There have only been 35 no-hitters in the history of the championships. Lucas is pretty good with a bat as well. His two-run single accounted for half of Fairfield's points in the 4-0 victory.
