GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (AP) - Mesa County investigators don't know much about a man found dead in the Colorado River this week.
The body was found Wednesday and had apparently been in the water two to six months. The (Grand Junction) Daily Sentinel reports that the man's identity remains a mystery after an autopsy.
The Mesa County Coroner's Office says advanced decay makes it hard to tell exactly how old he was - potentially between the ages of 45 and 75. T
The man had no teeth and was likely a smoker. He had an average to muscular build, weighed about 150 pounds, was 5-feet, 10-inches tall and was probably white or Hispanic.
It is believed the body was found near the Persigo Wash area along the river.
