Lighter fluid robbery suspect advised of charges

A man who police say doused his victims with lighter fluid before robbing them appeared before a judge this afternoon to be advised of the charges against him.
Dwight Davis, 51 was arrested Monday on several armed robbery and burglary charges dating back to mid April. In some of the cases, Davis allegedly threatened store clerks with a rock or a brick. In others, he doused his victims with lighter fluid and threatened to light a match if they didn't comply.
Davis is being held on $100,000 bond at the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center. He's due in court next on June 11.
