Light snow will continue this morning across most of south east Colorado. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Colorado Springs and Pueblo and the counties to the east. A Winter Storm Warning is in effect from Westcliffe to Trinidad and then east to Kansas.

Snow totals of 3 to 6 inches expected in Colorado Springs and Pueblo, 5 to 10 inches in more mountainous areas.

Colorado Springs road crews are on a "Level One, Full Callout." Level One is considered a standard snow event and, as needed, the City plows and applies anti-skid material to the streets.

The city trucks will work on 45 snow routes totalling nearly 1800 miles of road. City crews do not currently respond to residential streets until at least 6 inches of snow has fallen. Most areas of Colorado Springs are being impacted this morning by snow and ice, causing hazardous driving conditions especially on bridges, overpasses and untreated surfaces.
