Lewis-Palmer senior named "Athlete of the Week"

Lewis-Palmer cross country star Maddie Kruger is this week's "Loaf ‘N Jug High School Athlete of the Week."
Kruger fought off a bacterial infection that knocked her out of practice for a couple of weeks and still qualified for Saturday's state meet in Fort Collins. This is the third time Maddie has qualified for state.
Maddie has also volunteered well over 100 hours to a variety of community service projects including coats for the homeless and a mission to rebuild New Orleans.
