Letter carriers to collect food for the needy on Saturday

Letter carriers across the country will gather food for the needy on Saturday. Residents are asked to leave a sturdy bag containing non-perishable foods next to their mailbox Saturday morning. Local letter carriers will collect that food and take it to Care and Share.
This is the 20th year of the drive. Last year more than 70 million pounds of food was collected nationwide.
