The weekend forecast calls for gorgeous weather--perfect for getting outside and enjoying the beauty of Colorado.

Cheyenne Mountain State Park has two programs this weekend if you'd like to try something different.

On Saturday, Oct.16, at 1:00 p.m., learn the basics of operating a GPS and get some practice finding geocaches hidden in the park. GPS units will be provided. Meet at Camper Services.

A Family Mystery Hike will be held Sunday, Oct. 17 at 10:00 a.m. The naturalist-led hike will challenge families to solve a puzzle, riddle, or mystery as they walk and search for hidden clues along a 1-2 mile, easy trail. This is recommended for ages 5 years and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Meet at the Visitor Center.
