Late field goal lifts Colorado State to 36-34 win

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - Ben DeLine kicked a 35-yard field goal as time expired, Pete Thomas and Raymond Carter each had three touchdowns and Colorado State defeated Idaho 36-34 on Saturday to end a 12-game losing streak.

DeLine, who kicked two other field goals, missed a point-after attempt that would have tied the game at 34-34 with 6:24 left.

Thomas was 29 of 37 for 386 yards for the Rams (1-3), and Carter ran for 104 yards and a touchdown and caught two TD passes.

Nathan Enderle threw for 347 yards and three touchdown for the Vandals (2-2), who accumulated 459 total yards.

Idaho led 13-0 early, but Colorado State took a 14-13 lead with two quick touchdowns just before halftime.
