Tonight is the last night you will be able to take your dog out to a Sky Sox ball game this season.
The popular "Bark in the Park' wraps up tonight at Security Service Field where the Soxwill take on the Salt Lake Bees at 6:05pm.
Fans that purchase a ticket to the game can bring their well behaved dogs to the ballpark for free with seating provided for all dogs and their owners on the left field grass berm. Tickets are just $5.00.
A long-standing tradition at Security Service Field, "Bark in the Park" allows dog owners and Sky Sox fan the opportunity to spend time out at the ballpark with their lovable, four-legged friends. The Sky Sox hold these events in conjunction with the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region.
"The Human Society loves to participate in the Sky Sox ‘Bark in the Park' because the fans prove time and time again what dog lovers we are here in the Pikes Peak Region, " said the Humane Society President & CEO, Jan McHugh-Smith. "Studies have shown that companion animals are considered family members, and these evenings celebrate the human/animal bond by giving pets and families social time together."
Fans can purchase tickets for any of these fun games by visiting the Sky Sox website at www.skysox.com or by stopping by or calling the team's box office at (719) 591-7699.
