Highway 96 is blocked outside of Westcliffe due to a rockslide, according to Colorado State Patrol.
CDOT and Custer County are handling cleanup efforts. State patrol tells News 5, the highway is not closed, but a large rock fell just west of milepost 18. Heavy rain in the area is causing small slides, so drivers are advised to be on alert.
