ASPEN, Colo. (AP) - A longtime Aspen restaurant seized for back taxes could be back open as soon as Thursday.
The company that owns the building housing Little Annie's was the winning bidder in a tax auction held Tuesday. Aspen Core Ventures paid $40,000 for the restaurant's furnishings and equipment.
Landlord Nikos Hecht told the Aspen Daily News that the restaurant's employees will now be put back to work. The restaurant's general manager will own the newly created company to run the restaurant, known for its affordable prices. He says he's on track to open Thursday.
