LA shooting victim has Colorado connection

We learn from KUSA in Denver that one of the people killed by ex-police officer Christopher Dorner in a Los Angeles shooting was Keith Lawrence. Lawrence was a resident of Denver between 2008 and 2010. His father and stepmother still live in Parker, Colorado, and his brother, Kristopher, lives in the Denver-metro area.
Keith, who was 27 years old at the time of his death, attended Concordia University in California where he was a standout basketball player along with his fiancee Monica Quan. Monica also died in the shooting.
Quan, 28, was an assistant women's basketball coach at Cal State Fullerton. Lawrence, 27, was a public safety officer at the University of Southern California.
Keith's family flew out to California after hearing about the shooting.
