Gold medal figure skater Krisiti Yamaguchi and her husband, pro hockey star Bret Hedican, will be the joint torch lighters at an Opening Ceremonies watch party in downtown Colorado Springs this summer.

The Olympic Celebration will feature a live broadcast of the Opening Ceremonies shown on a 15'x27' high-definition video screen, autograph sessions with olympians and paralympians, demonstrations by a BMX stunt team and an acrobatics team as well as a synthetic "ice" rink.

The torch lighting finale will coincide with the torch lighting in London. The watch party begin at 4:00 p.m. July 27 at the intersection of Tejon and Colorado Avenue in front of the US Olympic Committee headquarters.
