Knuckleballer R.A. Dickey Wins National League Cy Young Award

Just two years after being cut by the New York Mets in spring training, R.A. Dickey wins the National League Cy Young Award.

Dickey went 20-6 overall. He received 27-of-32 first-place votes and 209 overall points in balloting by the Baseball Writers' Association of America. He's also the first knuckleballer ever to receive the honor.

David Price of the Tampa Bay Rays won the American League Cy Young Award.
