Knock, knock. Who's there? Al. Al who? Alligator!

A large alligator was found on the doorstep of a home in DeBary, Florida on Tuesday.

A concerned neighbor called for help after seeing the reptile along Quail Lake Drive.

Video showed the alligator on the doorstep before it traveled to the side of the home and seemed as if it tried to peer inside through a window.

The reptile then went back to the doorstep before it moved through a flower bed and headed back to a pond.

Tina Anderson, the homeowner, said she is glad she was shopping and missed all the drama, but wants to see a happy ending for the gator.

"They shouldn't kill it, I just don't want to see it in my backyard," she said.

Florida Fish and Wildlife officials arrived after the gator made it back to the water.

They said if gators are more than four feet and are wandering around neighborhoods, they will most likely be trapped and killed, so the animal got away just in time.
