DENVER (AP) - The Denver Nuggets won't have coach George Karl back for the opening round of the playoffs. They will have the services of another key member of their team who also missed 19 games down the stretch: defensive stalwart Kenyon Martin.
The question is: how much will Martin be able to play when the series against the Utah Jazz begins Saturday night at the Pepsi Center?
Martin returned with a week left in the regular season but played limited minutes, and acting coach Adrian Dantley said he has no idea what he'll get out of K-Mart come crunch time in the postseason.
The Jazz has its owns injury concerns. Carlos Boozer is a game-time decision with a strained muscle in his rib cage and forward Andrei Kirilenko is out for this series with a strained left calf.
