TODAY: Westerly winds will let us warm into the 60s in most areas today...closer to 45 in Teller County. Winds will be 15-25 mphs with local downbursts. Be careful driving along I-25 and also in the mountains.
Also, this afternoon isolated thunderstorms are moving through your area. You could see pea size hail and light rain. The bigger threats, however, are cloud to ground lightning and winds gusting to 45 mph.
Southern El Paso, Pueblo, Crowley, Otero, and Eastern Las Animas Counties should expect west winds 25-35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph. So these areas are under a RED FLAG WARNING through 8pm tonight.
TONIGHT: Partly cloudy with lows near 30 in the Springs and Pueblo, 35 in Canon City and 20 in Teller County.
MONDAY: Breezy and beautiful with lots of sunshine. It will be cooler with highs in the low 50s in Pueblo and Canon City, upper 40s in Colorado Springs, near 40 in Teller County.
