LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Leah Thorvilson has made it three years in a row as winner among women running the Little Rock Marathon.
Race organizers said the 32-year-old Thorvilson, who lives at Little Rock, finished in first place Sunday with a time of 2:45:51 over the 26.2-mile course. The second-place finisher was 27-year-old Uli Bromme of Boulder, Colo., with a time of 2:47:52.
The men's winner was 34-year-old Mark Chepsis, a Kenyan who now lives in Toluca, Mexico, who finished in 2:24:07. He was followed in second place by another Kenyan, 31-year-old Julius Kosgei, who now lives at Searcy (SUR'-see), with a time of 2:29:17.
