Kansas has biggest comeback ever in 52-45 victory

LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) - James Sims rushed for four touchdowns, including the game-winner of 28 yards with 52 seconds left, as Kansas overcame the biggest deficit in school history to defeat
Colorado 52-45 Saturday.
The Jayhawks trailed 45-17 after Rodney Stewart's 8-yard touchdown run for the Buffaloes on the first play of the fourth quarter. Kansas, however, scored 35 unanswered points to pull out
the victory - the most points it has scored in a quarter in school history.
All four of Sims' touchdowns came in the final 19 minutes. Kansas (3-6, 1-4 Big 12) snapped an 11-game conference losing streak while Colorado (3-6, 0-5) lost its fifth straight.
Kansas cornerback Tyler Patmon spearheaded the comeback by returning a fumble 28 yards for a touchdown and intercepting a pass to set up the tying touchdown.
Cody Hawkins threw for three touchdowns and Stewart ran for three touchdowns for Colorado.
