K9-5K & Pawtober Fest this Saturday

Does your dog perform the best trick around? Can her howl shatter fine crystal? Calling all dogs (and their owners)--this Saturday is the K9-5K and Pawtober Fest at Nosh and Alamo Square Park in Colorado Springs.

This fundraiser for the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region features a howling-good time. Pawtoberfest is free, with proceeds from the beergarden, food, contests and activities supporting the Humane Society.

If your dog is a star, enter her in these contests:
12:00 - Best Howl
12:15 - Best Trick
12:45 - Musical Sits
1:15 - Pet-Owner Look-Alike
1:30 - Best Costume
