Jury in Stark trial goes home early

The jury in the murder trial of Paul Stark was sent home around noon today because of a scheduling conflict with one of the defense attorneys.
Stark is charged in the murder of a 14-year-old girl in Pueblo West in 2009.
The jury was seated last night and this morning the prosecution and defense both presented opening arguments. Then the prosecution began building its case with witnesses on the stand.
But no testimony was presented this afternoon. The case will resume Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. in Pueblo District Court.
