After what started out as the coolest start to July in 11 years, temperatures are rebounding.
Morning temperatures only dipped in to the 60's. With sunshine this morning, temperatures will quickly climb back to the 90's and even 100's in many locations. Expect to see mostly sunny skies throughout the morning with a few clouds developing by noon.
There will be a small chance (15%) for a few showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the Pikes Peak region this afternoon.
Warm temperatures will continue Monday as highs will once again be in the 90's and 100's. Changes are coming for Tuesday as a cold front passes through the region. Tempreatures will likely drop 12-20 degrees (Monday to Tuesday). The chance for rain will increase for Tuesday and Wednesday.
