COLORADO SPRINGS - It will cost a Colorado Springs man who was arrested Monday on charges of Driving Under the Influence and Vehicular Homicide more money to post bail.

At the request of the district attorney, the judge increased the bond for Robert Icenogle, 47, from $30,000 to $150,000 as the defendant appeared for his video advisement today at the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center.

Icenogle drove his Dodge Durango into the back of a Ford minivan that was stalled along Pikes Peak Avenue Monday afternoon pinning three people.

Two of the three died as a result of their injuries. The third and two passengers inside the minivan had less severe injuries.

Icenogle told the judge that he was disabled and that the increased bond amount would create a financial hardship. A bond reduction hearing is scheduled for December 3.
