A Pueblo judge has denied a request by an inmate who wanted to use marijuana inside the Pueblo County Jail.

Isaac Galinido, 33, is in Pueblo County Jail on a probation violation. He says he was a prescription for medical marijuana and asked that he be allowed to have it inside the jail. But Thursday afternoon a judge rules he cannot. That mirrors a ruling made in Colorado's 1st Judicial District.

Still undecided in Galindo's case is if the use of medical marijuana constitutes a probation violation.
