John & Dorothy Mendoza works on display

An art exhibit by Pueblo favorites John and Dorothy Mendoza is underway at the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center.

The nationally-known Pueblo County couple is wildly successful, with their vibrant work displayed in upscale galleries in many states.

The exhibit is open through the end of the month.

The Sangre Galleries are open Tuesday - Saturday, 11 am - 4 pm.
