Two days away from the start of Denver Broncos training camp and the team has it's first big roster move.
The team released tight end Joel Dreesen after failing a physical at team headquarters.
The Denver Post first reported the move.
Dreesen tweeted out later, "thank u to everyone for all of the twitter support. Unfortunately my knee just refuses to cooperate at this time."
Dreesen was looking up in a loaded field of tight ends on the Broncos, that include Julius Thomas and Jacob Tamme and Virgil Green.
The former CSU star caught seven passes last season after starting 15 games in 2012, posting career best numbers.
He played at Fort Morgan high school.
