Job of the Day: Medical Coder

United Health Group is looking for a Medical Coder.
In this role, you will be is responsible to support the DRG Validation Process in accordance with the Tricare Operations Manual. This includes the analysis and translation of medical and clinical diagnoses, procedures, injuries, or illnesses into designated numerical codes.
Job requirements:
HS Diploma or GED
Must be a certified coder (i.e. RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, etc)
1 + year of CPT and ICD-9 coding experience
1 + year of Production coding experience
Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system application
Capable of working in a complex, fast paced, dynamic environment that involves multiple customer types, products and evolving systems
