Bent's Old Fort National Historic Site in La Junta is seeking a Museum Aid.

Major duties will include the cleaning and care of museum objects and living history items on exhibit as well as the cleaning and care of the fort itself.

Bent's Old Fort is a living history museum on the Santa Fe Trail.

Duties will include performing storage upgrades for archaeological materials, utilizing appropriate archival materials. This will include re-housing artifacts, creating storage mounts as needed and organizing artifacts in storage. Re-housed materials will be inventoried and their location updated in the computer database.
