The US Army Corp of Engineers has one opening for an Electrical Engineer in Colorado Springs.

"As the project engineer you will be responsible for the contract management of various complex and conventional construction contracts to include oversight and inspection of contractor operations and associated liaison and coordination with using agencies and contractors. Makes thorough study of contracts, plans and specifications. Reviews and analyzes proposals submitted by contractors for field changes to contract lans/specifications and prepares draft of findings. Negotiates with contractors on field changes. Makes difficult on-the-spot decisions. Keeps in close contact with construction representatives to plan inspection services to meet requirements of contract. Keeps in close contact with project owners to insure that construction is progressing satisfactorily to meet their needs. Keeps them informed on any uncontrollable delays in construction which might affect completion of the project. Monitors equipment/operations for unsafe practices and takes corrective action."
