Fort Carson has an opening for a civilian Drug Test Technician. Starting pay is $38,790.00 - $50,431.00 /year.
"Administer, control, and coordinate the installation biochemical drug testing program in accordance with DOD, DA, and Installation Management Command (IMCOM) directives and policies. Responsibilities include training Unit Prevention Leaders (UPLs), maintaining statistical data and quality control procedures, serving as technical advisor to unit commanders and processing urine samples for shipment to laboratories. Coordinate with UPLs and arrange for the collection of specimen. Ship positive specimen to forensic drug testing laboratories for confirmation, following strict chain of custody procedures and other regulatory requirements. Identify and correct chain of custody documentation discrepancies, assure that UPLs follow established procedures, and resolve moderate operational problems involving the biochemical testing program."
