If you learned aircraft maintenance in the military, here's a great job to transition to civilian life. Fort Carson has a civilian opening for an aircraft attendant.
Duties include:
Draw fuel samples from tankers for post laboratory analysis and replace defective fuel filters as indicated by analysis. Advise Airfield Manager in all cases of contaminated fuels to preclude flight of any affected aircraft. Receive, store and disburses POL products. Operate and provide preventive maintenance for support equipment. Inspect, maintain and clean all vehicles and equipment; record trip tickets and allied records, schedule servicing, oil changes, etc.
Starting pay is $16 - $19 / hour
