Colorado Springs police are still investigating after a car was found burned near the summit of Pikes Peak.
Officers from the Major Accidents Unit remained on scene until 2 a.m. investigating. They believe there was one person in the vehicle, although they are not able to determine his or her gender. A police spokesperson says it will take a "considerable amount of time" to complete this investigation.
Colorado Springs police believe the burned vehicle is a four-door passenger car, possibly a Subaru with a black roof.
Police are asking anyone with information on a family member or friend who did not return home Sunday to call them at 444-7000.
