Larimer County Sheriff's deputies are searching for an intruder that allegedly told homeowners he was "sent by God."
A homeowner discovered the man late one night on Spring Glade Road northwest of Loveland. He told deputies he heard someone saying "hello" in his living room. When he went downstairs, the homeowner discovered a man sitting on his couch. When questioned, the man told the homeowner that he had been sent by God to marry his daughter. The suspect left the home after being told to leave.
Deputies say the suspect then went to a neighbor's house and was confronted by the homeowner in the driveway. The man gave the neighbor the same story, that he had been sent by God to marry his daughter. The neighbor told the man he did not have a daughter and asked the suspect to leave.
The man is described as a white male, 25 to 30 years old, approximately 5'8", approximately 130 pounds driving a newer silver Honda or Toyota.
Anyone with information regarding this crime is asked to call Sergeant John Feyen at the Larimer County Sheriff's Office at 970-498-5178 or Crime Stoppers at 970-221-6868 where you will remain anonymous and possibly be eligible for a cash reward.
