Interim Police Chief to meet with public

Interim Pueblo Police Chief Luis Velez will answer questions from the public at a "meet and greet" this afternoon at the new police department building.
Velez will serve for six months as chief, replacing Jim Billings, who retired yesterday after 36 years on the force.
Velez is a former police chief in Colorado Springs.
The meeting runs from 4:30 to 5:00 p.m. at the Community Room at the new Pueblo Municipal Justice Center, 200 S. Main Street.
