A chance to win some free gas is something we all could use these days.
To promote tourism in the city, the Colorado Springs Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is launching their ‘Tank Full of Summer Savings' campaign.
As Chelsy Murphy, from the CVB, says, "People are thinking, 'I can't take a vacation. It's too expensive.' We're an eighty-five percent drive market. So, we really have to look at people thinking about traveling to the area and try to answer their concerns."
The CVB teamed-up with many lodging properties, restaurants, and attraction sites to offer savings, as well as free gas cards to visitors. We were told by the CVB that gas cards rage in value, but can be as much as $100.
