Interchange in central Pueblo to close overnight

The on and off ramps at the Ilex interchange on I-25 will be closed overnight Monday from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Tuesday morning, then again Tuesday night from 9 p.m. to midnight to allow crews working for the Board of Water Works to replace aging water mains in the area.
Most water mains are located under streets, so roads must be closed when a line is replaced. The Ilex interchange funnels motorists on and off of Santa Fe just north of the Arkansas River in Pueblo.
