Injured twin leaves hospital

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) - An Australian woman who shot herself in the head at a Colorado shooting range in what authorities say was suicide pact with her twin sister has left the hospital.

Candice Hermeler left Swedish Hospital in suburban Denver Friday morning. The 29-year-old woman had been in the hospital since the Nov. 15 shootings that wounded her and killed her sister, Kristin Hermeler.  The woman's parents arrived in Colorado last week. The sisters, from Australia's Victoria state, had been in the Denver area for about five weeks before the shootings at an outdoor shooting range south of Denver. Authorities say each shot herself in the head.

Arapahoe County sheriff's investigators said this week they are closing the case and don't plan to file any charges.
